Through her observation of space, she extends images into different dimensions, ranging from two-dimensional works to spatial and landscape-based installations. Drawing from everyday experiences, she captures fleeting moments of light and shadow, transforming them through subtle spatial interventions into landscapes that exist between memory and reality. For Hsu, photography is not confined to the instant of pressing the shutter. An image must first pass through lived sensory experience and be completed through an ongoing dialogue with physical space, shaped by repeated acts of reframing.
